AHHHH!! I cut my hair!

So I finally did it, I got my under-cut, at the nape of my head and I am loving it. Naturally people kept asking me "why did you do it?", and I can honestly give you 101 reasons and no one would be satisfied (but it's my hair though).

The last year of my life was mad crazy and I needed to refresh and reclaim my life, like the saying goes about a women cutting her hair. I am also re-inventing my image and having fun with it. I used to be the type of naturalista that did not want to mess with my hair and be my own goals, and I forgot along the way one of the key things all naturalistas remind us, which is that our hair grows (it's our habits that determine whether we see the growth or not). So, the cut is temporary but the growth is ongoing.
I feel revitalised and excited for what the future holds. Breaking away from being everything people want and expect me to be and owning who I am, this means there will be a few differences you will notice in "my look".
An opportunity that arose from this cut is that I can take what I have learnt from growing my hair and apply it to help guide new naturalistas with managing their hair. A benefit I experienced immediately is that I can finally tie my hair into a high puff without using 1,001 bobby pins, it's mind-blowing.
